2021 NPPA Virtual Legislative Day

NPPA hosted its 2021 Legislative Day on February 24 virtually due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We were pleased to be joined by NOGCC Commissioner Dallen Juelfs, four members of the Legislature’s Natural Resources Committee including Chairman Bruce Bostelman, Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts and Speaker of the Legislature Mike Hilgers.

Although the format of the Legislative Day was different than past years, NPPA had great participation and presentations. Members had opportunities to provide Nebraska’s elected officials with their input on issues facing the industry and ask questions about the legislative process, and what more NPPA can do to represent the industry to policymakers. NPPA is pleased that during the event Speaker Hilgers accepted an invitation to visit the oil patch in Southwest Nebraska this summer.
